The Norwood Tree Board was established in April, 2000 by Norwood City
Council and is comprised of volunteer from the community. The Mission
of the Tree Board is: to provide fro the preservation of heritage or
historical trees, care of trees on City property, consideration of
trees and related greenery during development and construction, and to
establish landscape standards within the City of Norwood.

The
Tree Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7
p.m. at the Norwood City Health Department located at 2059 Sherman
Avenue, Norwood. Enter through the rear door if you plan to attend
the meeting.
Each year, the Tree Board sponsors “Arbor Day” activities, including
seedling giveaway, plant swap and silent auction. The Tree Board does
not receive any funding from the City of Norwood but its activities
are supported solely by donations.
